Remote Commercial Service Handyman at F 5 Construction Services LLC – Akron, Ohio

F5 Facility Services is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Commercial Handyman to support our growing client base in the Akron area. This field-based position requires a reliable professional who can work independently while delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services to commercial properties.
Technicians receive work orders remotely and travel directly to job sites.

Responsibilities:
Perform general commercial maintenance, including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing, minor electrical, and general repairs
Diagnose issues and provide effective repair solutions
Perform preventative maintenance on commercial facilities
Communicate professionally with clients regarding repairs and solutions
Prepare accurate quotes for labor and materials
Document work orders, time, and materials using the company's mobile apps
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Maintain company tools, vehicle, and equipment
Participate in occasional on-call or after-hours service

Qualifications:
Experience in commercial maintenance or handyman services
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Comfortable using mobile apps and job management software

Preferred:
Trade certifications or technical training
Experience with commercial building maintenance systems
