(BSI), a recognized leader in the hydrodynamic fluid film babbitt bearing manufacturing, repair, and design industry, is seeking a dedicated full-time Inside Sales / Customer Service Relations team member to join our team onsite at our corporate office in South Elgin, IL. This vital role serves as the primary point of contact for our customers repair parts, supporting sales activities, job planning, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The normal workdays and hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or degree preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years' manufacturing experience
• Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to bearing repairs and parts
• Manage and process repair orders efficiently, ensuring timely communication and updates to customers
• Support sales efforts by identifying customer needs and providing technical guidance on repair options
• Coordinate with manufacturing and repair teams to ensure accurate and prompt order fulfillment
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and follow-up activities
• Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally, aiming for high customer satisfaction
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, machining, or related technical fields
• Knowledge of industrial technology and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Hands on product review of incoming parts and prepare quotations for customers.
• Calculate and determine pricing
• Open and detailed communication with customers regarding order details, quotes and other issues or updates
• Track and maintain existing orders effectively and efficiently
