Seasonal Sugar Maker at Butternut Mountain Farm – Johnson, Vermont

Butternut Mountain Farm is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our farm team to work on the land and in our sugarhouse for the sugaring season. This position requires experience in operating an evaporator, filter press, RO, and sap management. Also running a chainsaw and leak checking.

Experience with sugaring is a plus however we are seeking someone who can flex and flow with the hours required to make maple syrup, have physical endurance of being on your feet along with being able to lift up to 50lbs. As a sugar maker, we are seeking some who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, is patient and pays attention to the details.

This is a seasonal position from December 2025 to April/May 2026 pending the season. The hourly pay range is $20.00 - $22.00. The position is located in Johnson, VT. We are an equal opportunity employer.
