We’re looking for a Value Stream Manager to play a key leadership role on our Omega Operations team. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving supply chain performance, and leading daily production activities using Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

As a Value Stream Manager, you will:

Drive Strategy & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and execute Value Stream operational strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead current and future state value stream mapping
  • Drive Lean daily management practices
  • Champion and lead Kaizen events
  • Implement metrics across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Lead Operations & Performance
  • Plan and prioritize production operations
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality standards
  • Review operational reports and resolve production, maintenance, and cost challenges
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets
  • Participate in SIOP to align supply/demand and identify resource gaps
  • Develop capital plans for the Value Stream
Build & Develop High-Performing Teams
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and hands-on problem solving
  • Drive training plans for process operations and safety
  • Conduct fair, accurate, and meaningful performance reviews
  • Foster strong employee relations and resolve workplace issues
Partner Cross-Functionally
  • Collaborate with engineering on product improvement and rationalization
  • Support NPI and Custom Engineered products
  • Ensure product standards and quality specifications are consistently met
Requirements: What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA strongly preferred)
  • 7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of leadership/people management experience
  • Experience leading teams in a Lean manufacturing environment
  • Lean / Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
  • Strong ERP system experience
  • Data-driven, process-oriented decision-making mindset
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
