Position: Security Systems Technician:
Responsibilities:
• Install, service, and inspect security, access control, CCTV, AiPhone, and fire alarm systems—primarily in commercial settings.
• Run cable, mount and connect field devices, and program systems according to specifications.
• Interpret and follow drawings, blueprints, and job specifications accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, both independently and collaboratively.
• Execute configuration updates and software upgrades as needed.
• Maintain clear communication regarding work progress, job status, and any required changes.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to promote a safe job site.
• Adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and customer needs with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in security, access control, CCTV, AiPhone, or fire alarm systems.
• Working knowledge of drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Strong understanding of IT and network infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Dependable and professional with outstanding customer service skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with proven ability to follow through to resolution.
• Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and operate mechanical lifts up to 40 feet.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Certifications with Bosch, DMP, Honeywell, Verint, Brivo, or Eagle Eye are a plus!
