Schedule:

1:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

4 - day workweek - Wednesdays and weekends off!

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting pay: $18.00/hour
• $2.00/hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 M - 6:00
• 80 Hours PTO accrued in your first year

Duties and Responsibilities

• Understand and know the set up and cleanup operation of the packaging line.
• Accurately cut bulk blocks of cheese up to 50lbs.
• Maintain line speed as per supervisor’s instructions.
• Inspect weight and seal retail packages of cheese.
• Accurately package 7.5 oz - 50 lb cuts into proper boxes.
• Assure proper labeling per order as set by the supervisor.
• Understand sanitation operations of the Packaging Department.
• Properly record Production and Quality data.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Maintain open communications with all departments.
• Maintain a sanitary workspace according to the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Follow all current company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repetitively.
• Stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Pass a drug & alcohol screen as well as a general background check.

Work Environment:

You'll be working in a food production facility where safety and cleanliness are top priorities. This includes following all food safety guidelines and working with cleaning chemicals as part of sanitation procedures.

• Dependability and punctuality a must.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to ensure safe and efficient performance of job duties.
• Computer knowledge preferred but will train..
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eagerness to learn and work in the dairy food industry.
