We are a non-for-profit association that provides accounting, tax and payroll services to independent hardware dealers and suppliers. Our mission is to stay at the forefront of our industry, continuously improving our processes and technology to better serve our clients. We are seeking a well-versed highly organized professional to join our team and lead our accounting and tax services. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Leading and mentoring the accounting and tax services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Assessing current processes and implementing standardized procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the department.
• Spearheading the adoption of modern accounting technologies to increase efficiencies.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for processes and ensuring compliance.
• Swiftly evaluating situations and making informed, concise decisions and recommendations to drive improvements.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required. Would consider an EA as well.
• Proven experience leading or working in an accounting firm.
• Strong track record of process improvement and technology integration. Previous experience with Thomson Reuters Accounting Creative Solutions is beneficial.
• Analytical and decisive with the ability to make quick assessments and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex accounting information into clear, concise directives.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Motivated, proactive and persistent with all tasks and challenges.
• Effective educator with a solution-focused mindset.
