Construction Services (Materials Testing) Project Manager at Ninyo & Moore – San Diego, California

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Construction Services (materials testing) Project Manager in San Diego, California.

• Manage construction and materials testing projects
• Manage project budgets and meet and interact with clients and design professionals
• Coordinate and oversee all field activities, including field technicians and inspectors
• Visit project sites to evaluate work being performed
• Review all project-related paperwork
• Assist in troubleshooting project-related issues

• B.S., B.A., or M.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• 5+ years of construction materials testing and inspection experience
• 2+ years of materials testing and inspection project management experience
• Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in proposal preparation, including materials quantity take-offs

• Local experience and familiarity with local codes and practices
• Understanding that this is not a general construction position
