As an Assistant Manager, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations while developing the skills needed to grow into a General Manager role. You'll support the team, ensure excellent food quality and service, and help create a clean, safe, and positive environment for both Guests and teammates.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead daily operations in the absence of the General Manager
• Supervise, coach, and motivate Crew Members during shifts
• Open and close the restaurant, manage shift transitions and breaks
• Ensure consistent food quality, order accuracy, and outstanding Guest service
• Perform all Crew Member duties (makeline, ovens, cut table, prep, packaging, Guest interactions)
• Follow Marco's recipes, procedures, and food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and OSHA regulations
• Assist with scheduling, ordering, and team development as needed
• Support hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members
• Promote teamwork, urgency, and accountability on every shift

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Preferred (not required):

• ServSafe Certification
• Previous restaurant or shift-lead experience

• Positive, can-do attitude with strong leadership presence
• Commitment to a 5-star Guest experience
• Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Willingness to follow all company policies and brand standards
• Focus on cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
