Ankiewicz Enterprises Inc. is actively seeking experienced and driven Operators to join our Field Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment on various civil construction and underground utility projects. From trenching for sewer lines to backfilling around water mains, your contributions will directly support infrastructure improvements for commercial, industrial, and government clients. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and backhoes on utility installation projects
Work alongside crews installing sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water lines, manholes, and inlets
Follow site-specific safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards
Assist with trenching, backfilling, and grading activities as directed
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Interpret site plans and elevation stakes to perform accurate digging and grading
Maintain productivity, communicate clearly with foreman and crew, and adapt to site needs
Perform general labor tasks as needed to support the crew
Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a utility or sitework environment
Familiarity with underground utility installation and safe digging practices
Ability to read and interpret construction plans is preferred
Strong communication skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude
Committed to safety and quality workmanship
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
No specific licenses or certifications required, but training will be provided
