Exceptional communication and technical skills are essential as we’ll rely on you to be involved in every phase of an application throughout its lifecycle, consulting and collaborating with business leaders, end users, IT staff, vendors and other third parties. Your tasks include job automation, running batch jobs, running SQL scripts, reviewing logs, system and application monitoring, maintenance, patch management, software upgrades, file transfers, backups, incident/problem troubleshooting and support. You’ll also perform operational support responsibilities including application maintenance, application configuration and performance tuning, account management, installation of software upgrades, user support, and systems monitoring as well as ensure that the application layer is optimally configured for seamless integration and operability with OS, database, middleware, network, web services, and other interrelated technological components.

- Strong experience supporting critical application software (local, network installed and SaaS) to include troubleshooting, research, ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, and maintain procedural documentation
- Comprehensive knowledge on server architecture and understanding of virtualization technologies, storage systems, enterprise security practices, and replication technologies
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
- Experience as a developer, systems integrator, systems engineer, solutions architect, or similar, strongly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL scripts and other scripting languages, and experience with batch automation and automation tools
