Description: Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Aseptic) is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant and production equipment to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe operations. This includes performing preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and completing assigned work orders in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical (120V-480V) systems on production and facility equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
Diagnose malfunctions, identify necessary parts, and coordinate orders or repairs as needed.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete maintenance tasks.
Monitor and maintain documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment manuals.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with the installation, setup, and testing of new or modified production equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all housekeeping and 5S standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems (120VAC-480VAC).
Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent time management, organization, and communication abilities.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, or climbing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the food and beverage industry or other high-speed manufacturing environments.
Background in preventive maintenance programs, CMMS systems, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
