Culinary Assistant at Cassia – Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Elim Shores Independent and Assisted Living has opportunities for self-motivated, energetic Culinary Assistants to join our team! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

As a Culinary Assistant at Elim Shores, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members meals. We provide a restaurant style dining here with a full-service menu. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys serving others in a team-focused environment while building meaningful relationships with residents.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available: 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Wage Range: $16.68 - $18.05 / hour depending on experience

Location: 7900 Timber Lake Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55347

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.

Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

• Prior serving/ dining experience preferred. We will train!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
