Janitorial Supervisor at Guardian Cleaners LLC – Hopkinsville, Kentucky

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to join our commercial cleaning company. This position is responsible for supervising janitorial staff and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety at our client locations. The ideal candidate will be able to pass a background check if required by client contract and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

• Supervise janitorial staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to contract budget hours and scope of work for each location.
• Prepare employee schedules and review timecards, making corrections and notes as needed.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of restrooms, including cleaning and sanitizing.
• Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning of restrooms and other designated areas.
• Gather and dispose of trash properly.
• Clean windows as needed.
• Disinfect areas as directed by upper management.
• Handle potential cleaning of areas containing bodily fluids (e.g., blood, vomit) following safety protocols.
• Perform daily physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching above head, pushing and pulling janitorial carts, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Notify upper management of any deficiencies or repairs required.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies, utilizing them efficiently to avoid waste.
• Document cleaning activities using daily checklists.
• Effectively communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance at all times.

• Ability to pass a background check if required by client contract.
• Previous experience supervising janitorial or cleaning staff preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for cleaning duties.
