Location: Hybrid | Tampa, FL
Travel: Local & National Travel Required (Several Times Per Year)
Join Moffitt Cancer Center’s Faculty Recruitment Team and play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to prevent and cure cancer. We’re seeking a Talent Advisor II with a passion for strategic recruitment and a proven track record or exposure to physician recruitment or similarly complex healthcare provider roles.
About the Role:
As a Talent Advisor II, you’ll lead the full recruitment lifecycle in a highly competitive, niche healthcare, academic, and research environment. From hiring manager consultations to onboarding, you’ll ensure a seamless and exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring leaders.
You’ll serve as a Moffitt brand ambassador, leveraging innovative, multipronged sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent. This includes online platforms, job fairs, academic partnerships, and industry events at a local and National level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring leaders to understand talent needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and select high-caliber candidates using behavioral-based and STAR interviewing techniques.
- Negotiate offers and support onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships across departments and external networks.
- Represent Moffitt at recruitment events and conferences nationwide.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and Florida Statutes while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience in a highly regulated environment.
What You Bring:
- Working knowledge of recruiting principles, candidate screening, and behavioral-based interviewing.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to sourcing and market research.
- Experience building strategic partnerships across all organizational levels with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously and prioritize and re-prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal HR regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
- Proven track record or exposure to APP recruitment or similar complex provider roles in healthcare, academic, or research environments is strongly preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree and a minimum of nine (9) years of business experience, including seven (7) years in full-cycle recruiting
OR - Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of business experience, including four (4) years in full-cycle recruiting
