Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable AWS solutions tailored to specific business requirements.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, promoting repeatable and reliable deployments.
- Integrate security best practices throughout all project phases, covering identity and access management, encryption, and secure networking.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in secure architecture patterns and cloud-native application development best practices.
- Establish and enforce security controls, such as RCPs, to ensure compliance and protection of cloud resources.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to optimize architectures and workflows.
- Advise on cloud cost optimization strategies and performance enhancements.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience architecting robust AWS environments.
- Deep understanding of network resources such as AWS WAF and network firewalls.
- Extensive experience managing data transformation tools (ETL), including AWS Glue and S3.
- Strong proficiency with logging and security services, such as CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and hands-on expertise with IAM roles and policies.
- Solid background in managing EC2 resources, including tools like Systems Manager for update management and automation
- Demonstrated expertise with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Proven track record in implementing AWS security controls.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and encryption technologies.
- Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, paired with a proactive and strategic approach to identifying and mitigating risks in cloud environments.

Compensation Range:

$130,241-$189,502

Compensation for this job is subject to market conditions, geographic considerations, the candidate’s unique skills and experience, state and local laws, and budget.
