Machine Operator at AMERITEX PIPE & PRODUCTS LLC – Conroe, Texas

This role is responsible for performing specific mesh welding machine operation duties to support the mesh welding process for several areas in the plant. Responsible to ensure efficiencies in the mesh welding production line and within the approved timeliness of production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

• Follows safety guidelines and procedures set for this role.
• Always wears the assigned PPE and follows the PPE guidelines set by the business.
• Does not operate any equipment, machinery, or tool(s) if he/she has not been trained to operate.
• Follows the production/batch plan according to the daily plan.
• Sets up the materials as per the production schedule and to support the production flow in the line.
• Follows LOTO and OSHA requirements outlined by the EHS department and based on the Standard Operating Procedures for this equipment.
• Programs PLC unit to set dimensions, quantities, and all specifications for the production run.
• Performs QC inspections on the line to ensure the quality standards are met during the
• Communicates equipment failure or malfunction to the maintenance team immediately.
• Performs pre-production and post-production inspection to ensure the equipment is safe and ready and in safe operating conditions.
• Completes the production and scrap reports accurately during and after
• Performs the necessary steps to ensure accurate and efficient changeover procedures.
• If necessary, maintains the correct fluid levels to ensure proper lubrication and the equipment functions correctly.
• Reports quality issues or deficiencies to the Department Lead, Supervisor or Manager immediately
• Supports the production flow by organizing the materials and inventory control tasks during and after completing the production process.
• Other duties assigned by the management team to ensure the completion of production and based on the needs of the business.

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or GED desirable but not required.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience as a machine operator with PLC capabilities preferred but not required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

LOTO Certification desirable but not required.

LOTO Certification will be provided by AmeriTex after the Team Member joins the business
