Lisk, you’ll help keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly by ensuring the accuracy of the tools and instruments our teams rely on every day. What You’ll Do
- Calibrate, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on precision mechanical inspection equipment used in machining, production and inspection operations.
- Work with electrical and electromechanical test instruments used to measure pressure, flow, and other critical attributes.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of all calibration activities and performance results.
- Develop, update, and maintain calibration procedures as needed.
- Partner with equipment suppliers to obtain quotes, lead times, and service information.
- Use 1factory database tools to track calibration schedules and ensure all gauges, inspection tools, and electrical equipment are calibrated on time.
- Set up and verify inspection gauges and equipment for operations.
- Support manufacturing and inspection teams by training and advising on proper equipment use and care.
- Take on special assignments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
What You Bring
Required Skills
- Interest in learning calibration techniques and growing technical skills.
- Comfort using inspection tools, gauges, and basic electrical instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (experience with GD&T is a plus, not a must).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Basic organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks with light supervision.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience with calibration software or ERP systems.
- Exposure to automotive, aerospace, or other regulated industries.
- Hands‑on mechanical or electrical aptitude.
- Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and willingness to innovate.
- Experience with pressure or electronic measurement equipment.
- Comfort working with technical teams.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior calibration experience is helpful, but motivated candidates with related technical experience or strong mechanical/electrical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
