Business Analytics Intern at Transport Management Services – Chattanooga, Tennessee

The Business Analytics Intern will support the Sales organization by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and insight generation that informs sales strategy, pricing, and customer opportunities. This role is designed to provide hands‑on, real‑world experience in business analytics while supporting the Sales team with data‑driven insights and special projects

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing sales and customer data for analysis and reporting.
• Conduct research and compile data as needed.
• Support the creation of recurring and ad‑hoc sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for Sales leadership.
• Analyze trends in sales performance, customer activity, and pricing to identify opportunities for improvement or growth.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
• ⁠Document findings and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders through written summaries and presentations.
• Assist with data validation and accuracy checks to ensure high‑quality reporting.
• Partner with Sales, Pricing, and Operations teams on assigned analytical projects and initiatives

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or equivalent.
