Lot Manager at Kelowna Truck & RV – West Kelowna, British Columbia

Kelowna Truck & RV is looking for a reliable and organized Lot Manager to oversee the presentation, movement, and management of our RV inventory.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional dealership environment. The Lot Manager plays a key part in ensuring that RVs and vehicles are properly positioned, safely handled, and ready for customers to view or take delivery. From coordinating lot flow to supporting the movement of RV units around the dealership, this position is essential to keeping dealership operations running smoothly.

The Lot Manager is responsible for the organization, appearance, and overall management of the dealership’s RV and vehicle inventory on the lot. This role ensures that new and pre-owned units are displayed to maximize customer appeal, supports sales operations with inventory readiness, and supervises Lot Attendants/Porters to maintain efficiency and presentation standards.

The Lot Manager may occasionally assist with moving and positioning RV units around the lot. Forklift experience is considered an asset but is not required, as dedicated equipment operators are also part of the team.

• Oversee daily operations of the dealership lot, ensuring RVs and vehicles are properly parked, organized, and displayed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and customer-friendly lot environment.
• Assist with coordinating the safe movement and staging of RV units throughout the dealership lot.
• Supervise Lot Attendants/Porters, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure units are clean, properly staged, and ready for customer viewing, delivery, or online listings.
• Coordinate unit movement for test drives, customer deliveries, and service appointments.
• Manage key control and ensure proper vehicle security procedures are followed.
• Conduct regular lot audits to confirm accurate inventory and proper unit placement.
• Assist with unit check-in and inspections upon arrival from manufacturers or trade-ins.
• Support Sales Managers with vehicle and RV preparation for promotions, events, and display setups.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Detailing teams to ensure timely inventory readiness.
• Assist with maintaining safe lot conditions including snow removal, debris clearing, and general lot upkeep.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dealership, RV, or automotive lot experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience is considered an asset but is not required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining professional inventory presentation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
