About This Position
Burial Beer Co. is looking for enthusiastic service professionals who have a love of craft beverages and hospitality to join our Front of House team supporting both VISUALS Rooftop Wine & Cocktail Bar and the Eulogy Music Venue. This role helps deliver immersive beverage experiences across a variety of service environments, including rooftop bar service, live music events, and private event programming.

The Job
To succeed in this role, you are professional, friendly, and committed to delivering the highest standards of quality hospitality. You thrive in a high volume service environment, are comfortable working late nights when events require it, and take pride in ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player with a genuine love for hospitality, craft beverages, and creating welcoming spaces for guests.
What You’ll Do
- Follow and uphold all beverage, service, and aesthetic standards, ensuring a strong focus on customer experience, education, quality, and efficiency throughout service.
- Perform all opening, closing, and side work duties to maintain a well-prepared and organized service environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas and guest spaces, including bar areas, seating areas, and artist areas when applicable (i.e. collect, wash, and restock glassware, plates, utensils, and other service tools as needed).
- Prepare cocktail ingredients and mix beverages according to established recipes and portion control standards
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcohol in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations
- Process credit card transactions, ensuring all items are rung in correctly and charges are accurate.
- Assist with stocking and organizing beverage products, coolers, and bar supplies. Communicate supply reorder needs and maintenance concerns to management.
- Support public and private events, including various operational models such as live music events, seated shows, taproom service, rooftop service, and other venue programming. Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
- Be willing and able to support multiple service roles during shifts, including bar service, guest assistance, ticketing support, and other operational needs depending on service flow.
- Stay up to date with company communications and operational updates through company platforms.
- Take initiative to support teammates and complete side tasks when service volume allows, contributing to a positive, efficient, and collaborative environment.

Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years with bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of craft beverages including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and late night events
- Positive, engaging personality with a strong hospitality mindset and professional work ethic
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and interest in craft beverages and the Burial brand
- Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume service environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to carry 30lbs up 2 flights of stairs.
- Comfortable working in environments with loud music, fluctuating lighting, and crowds for prolonged periods
- Ability to communicate clearly in high-noise environments
- Ability to go up and down stairs in a timely manor for restocking and changing kegs as needed
- Capacity to remain alert and responsive in dynamic settings, including during loud performances or late-night hours
