Cherry Picker / Turret Forklift Driver at Warehouse Labor – New Brunswick, New Jersey

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00/hour

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker and Turret Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating specialized material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.

• Operate cherry picker and turret forklifts to move, locate, stack, and retrieve products in high-rack warehouse settings
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas efficiently and safely
• Pick and stage orders accurately according to warehouse management system instructions
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper product placement
• Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
• Collaborate with team members and warehouse management to ensure smooth operations

• Valid forklift certification for cherry picker and/or turret equipment
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating cherry picker and turret forklifts in a warehouse setting
• Ability to work at heights and in narrow aisles safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic math skills and ability to use warehouse management systems or RF scanners
• Excellent safety record and knowledge of OSHA standards
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed

• Experience in high-volume distribution or fulfillment centers
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Certification in multiple forklift types
• High school diploma or equivalent

This position operates in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. The role requires operating equipment at heights up to 30+ feet and working in narrow aisles. Must be able to work in a fast-paced setting and meet productivity standards.
