Job description

WE PROVIDE THE VAN, INSURANCE, FUEL, UNIFORM AND HAND-HELD DEVICE

CALLING ALL DRIVERS - Join our expanding distribution team in the Maidstone area as an independent contractor and drive our BRAND NEW FULLY INSURED MERCEDES SPRINTER VANS. Delivering Amazon packages for Chase Delivers Ltd, you will be using state-of-the-art technology, benefiting from regular routes.

This is a self employed position. You will be responsible for loading your van from a staging area within the delivery station and delivering to both residential and commercial locations.

What we require from you:

  • Minimum age 21
  • Hold a full valid and current UK Driving Licence for at least 1 year with no more than 6 points (No active DR, DG or IN codes) - automatic licenses not accepted
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Have good spoken and written English
  • Have attention to detail to ensure deliveries are completed as per the correct process
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Flexible to service demands
  • Able to commute to and from delivery station
  • Pass a DVLA check
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test (we pay for this)
  • Pass a criminal background check (we pay for this)
  • Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous however not essential as full training will be given
  • Self employed registered
  • Must be able to work weekends

Industry: Transport and Freight

** We operate 7 days a week, this is not a Monday-Friday job **
