Mobile Trailer Mechanic at Service Tire Truck Centers – LEWISBERRY, Pennsylvania

Service Tire Truck Centers, a thriving mechanical business and leading provider of truck tires and mechanical services to the transportation industry with over 50 locations in several states is offering a full time position for an experienced Trailer Mechanic. The person who takes this job should be willing to to make customer satisfaction a number one priority, must be flexible and understand that job priorities can constantly change due to customer preference.

Position Overview:

• Performs vehicle PM's, federal inspections, troubleshooting and general repairs to tractor trailers and straight trucks.
• Preventative maintenance to ensure customers fleet of trailers are always in great condition
• Service, inspect, diagnose and perform all repairs and maintenance on trailer equipment.
• Routine maintenance and other service repair orders in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Welding and fabrication.
• Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers.
• Should have knowledge of electrical and air brake systems on trucks and trailers.
• Have computer skills to troubleshoot problems with diagnostic software.
• Responsible for delivering prompt, courteous and professional service to STTC internal and external customers.

Pre-placement drug screen and DOT physical required.
