About This Position
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a strategic, execution-focused Head of Sales & Business Development to lead all aspects of revenue growth across retail and emerging B2B channels. This leader will drive Wyze’s omnichannel sales strategy, expand key partnerships, and unlock new business models that help us grow with and beyond the smart home ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow the Sales & Business Development team across all channels, including Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy, Costco and emerging B2B and wholesale/distribution partners.
- Own and drive the sales strategy, revenue forecasts, and performance for all partner channels.
- Develop and manage strategic retail relationships and partner negotiations, including joint business planning, in-store marketing, and merchandising.
- Identify and pursue new B2B and commercial partnerships that leverage Wyze’s hardware, software, or platform capabilities (e.g., security providers, property managers, smart building integrators).
- Analyze performance and market trends to guide decisions around assortment, pricing, promotions, and channel expansion.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or channel management, ideally in consumer electronics, IoT, or a fast-paced tech environment.
- Proven success leading omnichannel sales strategy.
- Strong network and experience with major North American retail buyers and sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and build strategic partnerships from scratch.
- Deep analytical skills and a data-driven approach to sales management.
- High comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action in entrepreneurial settings.
- A team-first mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Previous experience owning Sales target or quota for new growth and customer retention.
Nice to Have
- Experience in smart home or IoT categories
- Exposure to international sales expansion
- Familiarity with subscription or services-based revenue models
