Position Summary

Edconic is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager, Digital Learning to lead and manage course development projects across a diverse portfolio of online and in-person programs.

This role is part of the Digital Learning team, whose mission is to deliver high-quality educational products, provide training and support, and improve operations across Edconic’s suite of educational brands through a shared service model.

The Associate Project Manager will oversee the execution of course development projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time, and in alignment with the brand’s goals. This position also plays a vital role in managing cross-functional collaboration with faculty, instructional designers, program teams, and video production to bring engaging learning experiences to life.

This is a remote role and reports to the Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of course development projects from initiation through launch across multiple formats and brands.
  • Ensure smooth operations and timely execution using monday.com as the project management platform.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including program teams, faculty, instructional designers, and video production to ensure alignment, accountability, and clarity across all phases of course development.
  • Act as a champion for project management best practices helping ensure high-quality outcomes for our students.
  • Manage the Digital Learning team’s SharePoint site, ensuring resources, templates, and tools are organized and updated.
  • Facilitate and lead regular project meetings to communicate progress, review issues, and drive resolution.
  • Develop and oversee clear project documentation processes, including schedules, agenda and meeting minutes, activity lists, and other project documentation.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and provide actionable solutions to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of freelance copyeditors, including developing scopes of work, onboarding, timeline management, and quality control.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve workflows for efficiency.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. 1-5 years of project management experience, ideally with a strong focus on course development delivery.
  3. Experience managing educational projects or working in a learning-focused organization is highly preferred.
  4. PMP or CAPM certification is a plus; but must be a professional development goal.
  5. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  6. Strong experience with project management software and methodologies; experience with monday.com is a plus.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  8. Strategic thinker and problem solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  10. Resourceful, adaptable, and proactive.
  11. Must be available to work on-site in New York City when requested.
  12. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Other Skills:

  • Proficiency in Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to build, maintain, and update complex schedules using formulas, dependencies, and structured templates while ensuring data accuracy and version control.
  • Comfortable managing multiple course projects simultaneously.
  • Strong grasp of instructional design and content development processes is a plus.
  • Experience working with academic faculty or subject matter experts.
