Job Summary

Our Maintenance & Landscaping Technicians play a critical role in preserving the appearance, safety, and functionality of our stores. This position places a primary focus on landscaping and exterior grounds maintenance, while also supporting day-to-day cosmetic and mechanical repairs across multiple locations. Technicians travel between our sites and are expected to perform work to the highest standard of quality and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform regular landscaping services including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, mulching, and seasonal clean-up
• Inspect exterior grounds for safety hazards, damage, or deterioration and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain irrigation systems, inspect for proper operation, and make adjustments or repairs as needed
• Work with and supervise contracted landscaping vendors to ensure all exterior property standards are consistently met
• Proactively develop seasonal plans for grounds care and submit recommendations for landscape improvements
• Perform other duties as necessary
• General Maintenance (including but not limited to)
• Facilities maintenance including power washing, painting, cosmetic repairs, HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge a plus
• Equipment calibration, modifications, and repair
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, cosmetic, and structural issues
• Check, repair, and/or replace components such as valves, motors, controls, wiring, fans, pumps, and locks
• Preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities with proper documentation
• Maintain safety standards and apply OSHA compliance practices at all times
• Maintain spare parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed
• Keep clear communication with the Operations Team, including District Managers Complete and submit work and travel logs daily Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 1–3 years of related maintenance and landscaping experience
• Strong knowledge of landscaping and exterior maintenance
• General knowledge of small appliance repair and facilities maintenance
• HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical experience
• Basic phone and computer proficiency
• Effective communication with supervisors, vendors, and coworkers
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation
• Physically able to walk, bend, reach, climb, twist, push, pull, lift up to 80 lbs., and stand for extended periods
