Next Wave Mortgage is hiring Licensed Mortgage Loan Officers to join our fully remote platform. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) seeking to increase production with strong operational support, organic website lead flow, and established referral partnerships.

Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officers are highly sought after, particularly candidates fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole, due to strong demand within our expanding markets. Licensed MLOs who can confidently serve diverse borrower communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

$80,000 - $110,000 at plan earnings

• Counsel applicants and home buyers on various loan products, buying or refinance process, prospective lenders, and lending guidelines
• Maintain strong referral relationships with real estate agents and with mortgage lending sources/ mortgage bankers, gather up to date lending rate sheets and stay abreast of mortgage industry trends
• Gather documents such as applicant’s credit history, income and employment verification, assets and liabilities, and background check to determine creditworthiness
• Find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers by researching competitive mortgage rates and interest rates and negotiating terms
• Submit application file to lenders in order to apply on the homeowners’ behalf

• Exceptional communications skills, time-management and analysis skills, and independently resourceful
• A current NMLS license or National Association of Mortgage Broker licensure or certification is required
• Have a strong understanding of loan products and loan process from origination to close
• Advanced computer skills including MS office, and loan origination software
