IT Business Analyst

This position is located On-site in our Elmwood, LA or Denver, CO office

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for translating business needs into technical developments to facilitate improvements and meet company goals. This position will also play a key role in helping to connect IT staff with the customer, company leadership, and other departmental staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to process improvement and operational excellence

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and ensure alignment of digital solutions with organizational.
• Lead business analysis efforts to identify improvement opportunities and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and reporting requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, define acceptance criteria, create training materials, and collaborate with Solutions Developers to ensure successful implementation and user adoption.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience analyzing business needs, process mapping, systems implementation and supporting teams in a complex project environment.
• Experience implementing and supporting HR, Payroll, Finance, or ERP systems.

Preferred:

• Industry experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Technology sectors.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Familiar with strategies and key tools to use AI for business analysis in order to bridge the gap between technical teams and business needs.
