TriMetrix is currently seeking an experienced Web Designer for a project we are working on in Florida. The qualified candidate must reside in the Tallahasse area, as this is an onsite role.
Responsibilities
| Responsible for human factors engineering, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing for Web and client-based applications, as well as metrics setting and monitoring for assessing the usability of the Web application. |
| Responsible for improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with Graphic Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Staff, and other Web Designers. |
| Responsible for performing usability tests, providing design prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting. |
| Responsible for requirements gathering and articulation of user interface issues – including development of page/site prototypes. |
| Provide status reports, financial reports and requested updates to federal leads and management. |
| Responsible for user-centered design methodology, user scenarios, usability testing, storyboarding, paper, and interactive prototypes. |
| Responsible for integrating design into program rules and system architecture, and creating innovative approaches to improving the end-user experience. |
| Responsible for graphic applications, HTML development tools, and other applicable authoring tools, Web production, and front-end development using programming and scripting languages. |
| Responsible for platform/browser compatibility and basic usability issues. |
Qualifications
| A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. |
| A minimum of 3 years of combined IT and graphic design experience. Able to understand HTML and have a strong working knowledge of Web generators and photographic libraries. Possesses a portfolio of websites or solutions. |

| Experience improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of Web sites in collaboration with Graphic Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Staff, and other Web Designers. |
| Experience performing usability tests, providing design prototypes, and providing ad hoc user interface consulting. |
| Experience in requirements gathering and articulation of user interface issues – including development of page/site prototypes. |

| Highly proficient in both spoken and written English. |
| Preferred Qualifications |
| Able to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida. |
| Five (5) or more years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer. |
