CMS Imaging is currently accepting resumes for a Regional Sales Director to lead a team of sales executives in the Carolinas, GA, TN and VA markets. Strong candidates will present a solid history of professional capital sales and sales management in the medical marketplace.

Founded in 1987 in Charleston, SC as an independent service organization, CMS Imaging has expanded its product line to include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Advanced Fluoroscopic systems. Position Summary

The Regional Sales Director leads strategic growth, market expansion, and high-performance sales execution across an assigned territory. This role is responsible for driving profitable revenue, developing strong customer partnerships, and leading a team that consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead regional sales strategy, execution, and forecasting to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Develop, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed performance expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, imaging centers, and key decision-makers.
  • Drive adoption of CMS Imaging’s product portfolio through effective positioning, demonstrations, and consultative selling.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategic planning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Service, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline discipline, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Uphold CMS Imaging policies, compliance standards, and ethical business practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably within medical imaging, healthcare technology, or capital equipment.
  • 4+ years of direct selling experience, including proficiency with CRM and sales technology platforms.
  • Experience engaging with senior executives (C-suite); prior senior leadership exposure is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging products, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region.
  • Ability to meet CMS Imaging compliance requirements, including background verification and required certifications.
