Power Apps Developer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Power Apps Developer in United States.

This role is focused on designing and delivering innovative business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform within a mission-driven, remote environment. You will work on both canvas and model-driven applications that integrate with diverse data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and external APIs. The position involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable digital solutions that improve operational efficiency. You will contribute to the full application lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and ongoing enhancement. Strong emphasis is placed on automation, performance optimization, and user-centric design. This is an opportunity to work in a structured yet flexible environment supporting complex government-related initiatives. The role also requires adherence to high standards of security, compliance, and engineering best practices.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain canvas and model-driven Power Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and external APIs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, define MVP scope, and support delivery planning and milestones.
  • Build and optimize Power Automate workflows with strong error handling, retry logic, and automation efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain data models, reusable components, and scalable architecture within the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, as well as external systems via connectors.
  • Support deployment processes using Power Platform ALM practices, including solutions, pipelines, and environment management.
  • Ensure application performance, security compliance, documentation, and ongoing support for deployed solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience or High School diploma with 6+ years of experience.
  • At least 1+ year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages).
  • Strong understanding of canvas and model-driven apps, data modeling, and integration concepts.
  • Experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, and familiarity with Python or similar coding languages.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft 365 integrations, and API connectivity.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification required.
  • U.S. citizenship required and ability to provide proof of citizenship; prior CAC access within the last 2 years preferred.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and application lifecycle management is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
