Position Summary
-
Under direction of Housing Services Manager, is responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, replacement of all building components. Maintains buildings (3) in excellent condition, plans for replacements/upgrades. Meets and exceeds city, state, federal and management policies/standards. Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff. Maintains adequate supplies. Responds to emergency situations and resolves efficiently.

Core Job Functions
- Maintain buildings according to federal/state/city regulations and to current codes. Utilize appropriate staff and vendors to maintain equipment and purchase operating supplies.
- Routinely inspect all systems/document results/repair or consult/plan with vendors for repairs/replacements.
- Consult with staff, vendors, and residents for needed upgrades to maintain buildings and modify apartments for residents with disabilities
- Supervise and educate housekeeping staff on appropriate cleaning methods using appropriate products. Maintain OSHA log and compliance. Coordinate team to complete repairs/upgrades and update documentations.
- Maintain records of all work completed in every area of the buildings/appliance serial numbers and locations and record of work orders. Maintain documentation of all chemicals used and safely stored and inventory of repair items.
