About This Position
Description:
Pine Hollow Club is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the daily operations of our food and beverage program across all outlets. This role plays a key part in delivering a consistent, high-quality member experience while supporting team leadership, service execution, and overall operations.
What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, developing teams, and creating a strong, service-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
Service & Operations
- Support daily food & beverage operations across dining rooms, bar, banquets, and seasonal outlets including pool service
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor and step in during busy periods to support service
- Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and operating efficiently
- Monitor service flow and help ensure a smooth, consistent experience for members and guests
Team Leadership & Training
- Support and guide service staff including servers, bartenders, and support team members
- Reinforce service standards and expectations through daily leadership and pre-service meetings
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training, ensuring training plans are followed
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment
Member Experience
- Deliver a warm, responsive, and professional experience for members and guests
- Assist in resolving service issues and support overall satisfaction
- Help maintain consistency in service standards across all outlets
Operations & Administrative Support
- Support scheduling, staffing levels, and shift coverage
- Assist with timecard review and payroll accuracy practices
- Monitor POS activity to ensure accurate orders and member charges
- Track basic service metrics such as covers and event needs
Club Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner with Culinary, Events, and other departments to execute service and events successfully
- Support food safety, alcohol service, and workplace safety standards
- Ensure alignment with club policies and HR best practices

Requirements: What We’re Looking For- 2–4 years of food & beverage leadership or supervisor experience
- Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on member experience
- Ability to lead by example and support team development
- Organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with POS and scheduling systems is a plus
This role requires flexibility based on club operations, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak season.
