Routine Tasks:

• Ensure all items are plated, packaged, and presented according to Joseph's quality and appearance standards
• Maintain freshness by rotating products and monitoring quality
• Package, label, and stock prepared foods for retail cases
• Follow sanitation and food safety protocols at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, scales, and wrapping machines
• Assist with general kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Food preparation or kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• A passion for serving people

Physical & Work Environment

A Kitchen Prep Plater performs tasks primarily in kitchen and prep areas, including refrigerated environments. This role involves walking and standing for prolonged periods and lifting products weighing up to 80 pounds. You will be exposed to varying temperatures and work environments. The position includes frequent interaction with fellow team members in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
