About This Position

OVERVIEW (POSITION PURPOSE)

The Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating products and raw materials in support of the production schedules. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this individual will create and maintain planning schedules that meet our working capital targets, as well as the needs of our growing and fluctuating business.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS

  • Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules
  • Communicate and distribute forecasts monthly (or as needed).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred

Work Experience:

  • Strong financial reporting/modeling experience preferred
  • Food and beverage manufacturing or supply chain experience preferred
  • Two years’ experience in a related field

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Great Plains and/or Business Intelligence experience preferred
  • Serve as the point-person for escalation of supply related issues
  • Must be proactive and have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond appropriately to questions
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Suite background
  • Ability to work independently on a multi-task level and follow projects through to completion

  • Noise level in work environment is moderate, Standard office setting.
  • Eye, hearing, hair nets, bump hats, lab coats may be required.
