Director of Day Camp & Teen Services at YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown – Goffstown, New Hampshire

The Granite YMCA is seeking a dynamic Director of Day Camp & Teen Programs to oversee our Day Camp, Teen Center, and Kid Zone initiatives. This full-time youth program leadership role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community by creating engaging, safe, and enriching experiences for youth and teens.

As Director, you will lead, manage, and grow a variety of youth-focused programs, including:

• Summer Day Camp: Manage the on-site summer day camp program for youth, specialty camps and trip camps
• Teen Programs: Oversee the Teens Coordinator to manage programs such as the Middle School Aftercare, Leaders Club, Teen Nights, quarterly Teen Trips, and support Youth & Government conferences
• Kid Zone: Oversee the Kid Zone Coordinator to manage daily operations and activities of the Y’s drop-in center and plan monthly Kids Night Out events

You will also:

• Recruit, train, and supervise staff while managing schedules and program quality
• Develop and maintain budgets, monitor enrollment, and track key performance data
• Build and maintain relationships with families and community organizations
• Provide professional development opportunities for team members
• Attend local and regional conferences to stay current in youth services best practices

Qualifications:

• A degree in Education, Recreation, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in camp management, education, or youth programs
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience working with youth and teens in educational or recreational settings
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to obtain Mini Bus Driving Credentials

Schedule:

• Salaried exempt full-time: Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends required
