The Spirit of the Position
LAZ Parking Technology and Innovation department is seeking a Director of Strategic Partner Success to bring structure, visibility, and accountability to our external partner ecosystem. These include but are not limited to e-commerce partners for digital products, PARCs partnerships for valet and self-parking, compliance, transportation partners. Today, partner relationships, contracts, and commercial arrangements are managed in a siloed and decentralized way across the organization. This role will centralize that work and set up a consistent approach to managing these partners.
The Director of Strategic Partner Success reports to the Vice President of Business Intelligence and is responsible to manage and keep the relationships between LAZ and LAZs strategic partners and be the LAZ communication conduit between the organizations. The primary aim of this position is to provide our partners with a point person at LAZ who can facilitate mutual success and alleviate friction. The Director interacts heavily with all levels of staff, including senior management and outside vendors, to set expectations and achieve the goals of the position.

Key Responsibilities
Partner Inventory & Organization
- Identify and document all existing LAZ partners across regions and departments.
- Build and maintain a centralized partner registry including:
- Services provided
- Internal stakeholders supported
- Contract types (MSAs, MOUs, SOWs)
- Key contacts
- Commercial terms, rebates, and pricing structures
Contract & Commercial Oversight
- Organize and standardize partner contracts in coordination with Legal.
- Review and support implementation of MSAs, MOUs, and amendments.
- Track contract renewals, expirations, and renegotiation timelines.
- Support renegotiations of existing MSA/MOU
- Ensure rebates, revenue shares, and contractual incentives are properly tracked and collected and reported in LAZ BI
Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary enterprise point of contact for assigned partners.
- Establish weekly, biweekly, or monthly Rhythm calls and performance reviews with key partners.
- Hold partners accountable to agreed-upon service levels and commitments.
- Recommend ways to add value via rebates, partnership incentives or other means during negotiations and renewals.
- Support contract renewals and new partner onboarding.
Partner Governance & Process
- Create standards for new partner intake and approval.
- Define basic partner tiers (e.g., strategic, preferred, approved)
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, IT, and Operations on contract and partner implementation and support.
- Identify duplicated vendors, overlapping services, and consolidation opportunities.
Reporting & Systems
- Maintain partner data, contract records, and performance tracking.
- Advise and partner with BI Team to develop dashboards and reporting for leadership.
- Help select or improve systems used to manage partner and contract data.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field.
- CPP and/or CAPP certification preferred.
Experience:
- 35+ years of experience in vendor / partner relationship / account management.
Skills:
- Sophisticated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendors, partners, or external service providers.
- Working knowledge of MSAs, MOUs, and commercial contract structures
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, IT, and Operations
- Proven ability to work autonomously.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Manage projects and interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
Preferred
- Familiarity with parking technology ecosystem and industry service providers
- Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Evisort or similar)
- Experience tracking rebates, revenue share, or incentive programs.
- Experience helping stand up new processes or governance models.
