We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions. In this role, you will lead complex projects, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and implement robust solutions. You will contribute to end-to-end feature development, ensuring systems are interoperable, maintainable, and performant. Design, develop, and implement core application features and system components.
Lead tasking sessions and provide high-level design, estimates, and guidance for complex projects.
Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, identifying risks, roadblocks, and effective solutions.
Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to refine requirements and ensure robust implementation.
Establish and maintain high coding standards, ensuring system performance, maintainability, and interoperability.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle, with 5+ years in a senior or staff-level role.
Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent in Computer Science or related field; coding bootcamp or equivalent experience accepted.
Strong expertise in Java and end-to-end feature development.
Experience designing and building complex systems, preferably in healthcare technology.
Familiarity with healthcare data formats such as HL7 and FHIR is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions, lead projects, and mentor team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong collaboration abilities.
