The Quality Infection Control Coordinator is a vital role in preventing, monitoring, and managing infections across Union Health to ensure the safest possible environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

- Infection surveillance, prevention, and control
- Data analysis and interpretation of infection trends

- Strengthens patient safety through infection prevention and surveillance.
- Partners with departments to reduce healthcare-associated infections and improve quality.
- Supports a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the hospital.
(Unit / Dept.) Training & Onboarding Culture
- Guided onboarding with support from Infection Prevention leadership.
- Ongoing training in infection control practices and safety protocols.
- Team-based culture focused on patient safety and continuous improvement.
Essential Job Duties:
- Infection surveillance, prevention, and control
Data analysis and interpretation of infection trends - Collaboration with clinical departments on best practices
- Education and guidance for staff, patients, and visitors
Qualifications:
- Indiana RN license required
- BSN required
- Two years acute care nursing experience
- Strong communication, computer, and education skills
