SUMMARY: The Delivery Driver is responsible for distributing and collecting products in a timely and professional manner. Genesis Gaming products include but not limited to gaming furniture, layouts, and accessories. A successful Delivery Driver at Genesis Gaming enjoys being out on the road driving, puts safety first and, cares about customer expectations and satisfaction. The Delivery Driver is a non-CDL driver position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drives routes and delivers products to and from vendors/customers/internal offices.
  • Responsible for all delivery and pick-up paperwork. Will provide needed paperwork to respective parties once delivery is completed.
  • Informs supervisor of required vehicle maintenance/servicing, and washes / keeps vehicle clean as needed.
  • Drives company vehicle(s) in a safe manner, obeys all traffic laws, and reports any motor vehicle violations to the supervisor immediately.
  • Checks Verizon Connect application for daily tasks and checking them off as completed.
  • Updates Verizon connect with a picture of proof of delivery once items have been delivered.
  • Keeps a log of everything that is dropped off and picked up on a daily basis.
  • Navigates throughout the Las Vegas region in an efficient, safe and timely manner.
  • Checks and validates items being picked up for quality assurance prior to receiving them.
  • Loads and offloads materials from truck to deliver to respective parties.
  • Abides by all Nevada state driving laws.
  • Assists the Warehouse & Production Team with miscellaneous tasks.
  • Assists in other departments as needed, by request.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess a valid current driver license and have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Will need to be approved on the corporate vehicle insurance and will need to be able to pass a pre-employment background and MVR check.
  • Must possess the ability to read, follow and fill out order and delivery paperwork.
  • Must be able to drive the company vehicle(s) in a safe manner, obeys all traffic laws, and efficiently navigate through the Las Vegas region.
