This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex global programs, ensuring operational excellence, and driving client satisfaction across multiple regions. The Director of Global Delivery will lead a large, diverse team, aligning global operations with business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, manage risk and performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to scale delivery capabilities. The role demands a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a focus on optimizing processes, enabling technology integration, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. - Lead and inspire a global team of delivery managers and professionals, setting strategic objectives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the efficient management of global delivery operations, ensuring alignment with business strategies and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Serve as the primary interface with key stakeholders across regions, fostering transparent communication and strong partnerships.
- Monitor and evaluate performance using KPIs, implementing improvements to exceed targets.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks and issues, ensuring alignment with organizational and client expectations.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance global delivery capabilities and operational scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as HR, IT, and Finance to ensure seamless integration of delivery processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, IT, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in global delivery management, leading large and diverse teams across complex IT or service delivery projects.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, with proven ability to manage client relationships at the executive level.
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Azure, and the Microsoft product stack.
- Financial acumen with experience managing portfolios of $30–35M and teams of ~150 members.
- Hands-on approach when required, with strong operational and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage for global operations.
- Experience driving continuous improvement, operational scalability, and performance optimization across global teams.
