In-Home Attendant Caregiver at Golden Years Adult Day Care – Bardstown, Kentucky

At Golden Years, compassion is at the heart of everything we do. We’re currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care and meaningful companionship to a client. This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, understands the importance of dignity and patience in caregiving, and enjoys creating joy in daily routines.

We are seeking a female caregiver to assist an elderly client in a clean, smoke-free home in Bardstown, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and punctual, with experience supporting clients who use a wheelchair.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist with transferring client from bed to wheelchair.
Provide bathing and grooming assistance.
Prepare meals and support with light housekeeping tasks.
Run errands as needed.
Offer companionship and maintain a respectful, caring environment.

Home Environment:
No smoking, no animals, no infestations.
Client lives alone, though family does visit occasionally.

Qualifications:
Previous caregiving experience preferred.
Must be compassionate, dependable, and comfortable assisting with mobility needs.
Reliable transportation required for errands.
