As a Team Lead for SAP Managed Services, you will oversee a skilled team of engineers providing mission-critical support for SAP applications across global clients. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring that complex issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. You will drive team growth, mentor engineers, and guide the adoption of best practices for SAP application support. The position offers the opportunity to manage multi-module SAP environments, collaborate directly with clients, and influence the operational excellence of managed services. You will lead initiatives to optimize processes, ensure timely delivery of fixes, and maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving in dynamic, international settings. Remote work is fully supported, providing flexibility while engaging with teams and clients across time zones.
- Lead and manage a team of SAP Managed Services engineers, ensuring high performance, engagement, and professional development
- Oversee application support for multiple SAP modules, addressing complex technical and functional issues
- Collaborate with clients to understand needs, provide solutions, and ensure exceptional customer experience
- Develop, test, and deliver fixes for critical product defects in highly integrated SAP environments
- Drive process improvements, governance, and best practices across SAP support operations
- Mentor team members, supporting skill growth, technical expertise, and career development
- Participate in technical strategy, account planning, and cross-functional initiatives to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
- 10+ years of SAP software product support experience with techno-functional expertise
- Proficiency in one or more SAP modules: MM, WM, FICO, SD, HCM, PP, or PM
- 5+ years of SAP AMS support experience and team leadership experience managing 7+ engineers
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms, including full life-cycle implementation, configuration, and administration
- Expertise in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and data issue remediation
- Familiarity with SAP maintenance, patching, and architecture principles
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Desired certifications: ITIL/ITSM, PMP/PMI
- Ability to work remotely and manage distributed teams effectively
