Surgical Tech

Assists surgeon during operative procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedures. Monitors PAR level of surgical instruments and supplies, and makes materials coordinator aware. Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments when necessary. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Qualifications include completion of accredited surgical tech training program, surgical tech certification preferred.
