About This Position
Job Summary: The Manager, Digital Experience & Web Strategy is responsible for overseeing the consumer- facing website, intranet, and provider/location listings to ensure an engaging, accurate, and consistent digital presence across WMCHealth’s network. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, this role leads website and intranet updates, user experience improvements, and digital visibility initiatives, including SEO and emerging AI platforms such as ChatGPT and CoPilot. The Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders, marketing teams, and IT to deliver seamless digital experiences that support patient acquisition, engagement, and brand reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Use content management systems to perform updates, new page development, and UX enhancements to maintain accurate, engaging, and accessible digital content. Ensure style and brand consistency across digital platforms and with other Marketing mediums.
- Ensure provider and location information is up-to-date. Use vendors’ management systems to edit and maintain listings across self-scheduling directories and external platforms (Google, Bing, Healthgrades, etc.).
- Monitor online reviews and WMCHealth’s responses to reviews, ensuring timely and professional engagement that supports brand perception.
- Implement SEO best practices and leverage AI tools to improve search visibility and discoverability of health system services and providers.
- Partner with service line leaders, operations teams, and medical staff to gather requirements and implement changes aligned with organizational priorities.
- Partner with Manager, Digital Analytics & Optimization to understand performance, and recommend and implement traffic- and UX-enhancing improvements to digital platforms.
- Collaborate with Marketing team colleagues to ensure digital initiatives are integrated across campaigns and marketing channels.
- Support the development and execution of broader digital strategies that enhance patient experience and service line growth.
- Track advancements in the healthcare and digital marketing space and proactively suggest changes to improve digital platform performance.
- Strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences in a complex healthcare environment. Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of website management experience, required
- Experience with CMS platforms and search optimization, required.
- Intranet and business listings management experience, preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or related field, required.
