We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager in India.In this role, you will lead a cross-functional engineering team spanning mobile and backend technologies, driving delivery, quality, and technical excellence across platforms. You will play a hands-on leadership role, balancing people management with technical guidance to ensure consistent and predictable releases. Working closely with agile partners, you will align engineering execution with business priorities while proactively managing risks and dependencies. • Lead, mentor, and support a multinational team of iOS, Android, and backend engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development planning, while actively contributing to hiring and onboarding efforts
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and oversight, participating in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
• Partner closely with agile leadership to plan sprints, manage capacity, and maintain a consistent and predictable release cadence
• Ensure engineering readiness, execution quality, and timely delivery by identifying risks, removing blockers, and improving workflows and tooling
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, UX, and architecture teams to align on scope, dependencies, and technical trade-offs
• Communicate progress, challenges, and technical considerations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or people management role
• Strong hands-on experience in mobile development (iOS and/or Android) and/or backend development using C#/.NET
• Proven experience working in Agile environments with distributed, multinational teams
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges
• Demonstrated ability to support reliable, on-time delivery and maintain high engineering quality standards
• Experience with large-scale mobile applications or distributed backend systems is a strong plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and automated testing practices is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a leadership style that balances technical credibility with people management
