Plumbing Apprentice at Midway Plumbing – Abilene, Texas

Midway Plumbing is seeking a motivated and hardworking Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Abilene. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, grow in the plumbing trade, and work alongside experienced technicians in a supportive, team-focused environment. You’ll assist with residential service, repairs, and installations while building the skills needed to become a fully licensed plumber.

• Assist licensed plumbers with residential plumbing service calls, repairs, and installations.
  
• Support with tasks such as diagnosing issues, replacing fixtures, water heater installs, drain cleaning, and leak repairs.
  
• Learn and follow company processes, safety protocols, and service standards.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service vehicle.
  
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development to progress toward full licensure.
  
• Follow all state and local plumbing codes and compliance requirements.
  
• Provide support during after-hours or weekend shifts as needed.
  

• Texas Apprentice Plumbing License (or ability to obtain).
  
• Strong interest in the plumbing trade and a desire to grow with Midway Plumbing.
  
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in crawl spaces, attics, and tight areas.
  
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  
• Good communication and customer service skills.
