This role offers the opportunity to apply broad engineering expertise to support complex control systems in field operations, focusing on hydraulic fracturing applications. You will provide technical leadership across pre-job planning, commissioning, field support, and continuous improvement of products and systems. The position combines remote support with occasional on-site engagement, ensuring seamless operations and client satisfaction. Ideal candidates are adept at problem-solving, embedded software, and system development, and have experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. You will interact with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing guidance, training, and technical solutions to meet operational and project goals. This role is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and essential for maintaining system reliability and enhancing product performance.
- Provide technical support for iComplete products during project execution, field operations, and tenders
- Participate in pre-job planning and commissioning activities to ensure successful job execution
- Approve engineering solutions for field challenges according to standards, procedures, and best practices
- Liaise with internal teams and external customers for technical meetings, demonstrations, and negotiations
- Support embedded software maintenance, system development, and product documentation, including manuals and user guides
- Prioritize and execute engineering support requests, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all systems function according to design specifications, control narratives, and Cause & Effect documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 4–6 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 2 years in hydraulic fracturing control systems preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and solve complex problems
- Experience in embedded software and system development for control systems
- Knowledge of electrical diagrams (P&ID), hardware layouts, and relevant codes, design, and testing standards
- Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously, providing remote and on-site support as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching skills for supporting internal teams and external customers
