Position Overview
The Interconnect Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising a team of technicians focused on the wiring and interconnection of Fabricated Electrical Houses (E-Houses) for industrial applications. This role ensures that all wiring, routing, and interconnect systems are installed accurately, safely, and in accordance with engineering specifications and production schedules.

Role Summary
As a key function within the E-House department, the Interconnect team ensures all internal wiring, cable management, and electrical interconnections between components—such as switchgear, control panels, and auxiliary systems, are completed to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day activities of the Interconnect
(wiring) team within the E-House department
• Train, mentor, and assign tasks to technicians
responsible for cable routing, termination, and
electrical interconnections
• Ensure all wiring and interconnect work is
completed in accordance with electrical
schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering
specifications
• Oversee installation and termination of wiring
for switchgear, control panels, transformers,
and auxiliary systems
• Verify proper cable management, labeling,
and routing to meet quality and industry
standards
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams
to resolve wiring issues and ensure compliance
with NEC, IEEE, and company standards
• Perform and oversee continuity checks, a
point-to-point verification, and troubleshooting
of wiring systems
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures,
including electrical safety and OSHA compliance
• Support testing and commissioning activities a
related to interconnect systems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to a
increase efficiency, reduce rework, and
improve wiring quality
• Maintain accurate documentation, including
wiring checklists, test results, and production
tracking
• Communicate daily progress, challenges,
and resource needs to management
• Foster a team-oriented, safety-focused,
and high-quality work environment

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required;
technical certification or associate degree in
electrical technology or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in electrical wiring,
interconnect, or industrial assembly, with at
least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical
schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Hands-on experience with wire termination,
cable routing, and electrical system integration
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety
standards (OSHA, NEC, etc.)
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used
in electrical assembly and wiring
• Strong leadership, communication, and
organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and
organized work environment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in E-House, switchgear, or modular
electrical system assembly
• Electrical certification (e.g., journeyman
electrician or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with point-to-point wiring
verification and testing procedures
• Experience with lean manufacturing
or continuous improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of industry standards such
as NEC and IEEE
